At Music with Manny, we know that starting a new instrument can be a big step for both children and parents! Starting in 2026, we’re excited to offer instrument hire, a great way to get started without a large upfront cost.

This means parents don’t need to spend a lot of money buying an instrument, especially if their child isn’t sure whether they’ll continue lessons. With our hire scheme, your child can explore music at their own pace — and if they decide not to continue, it won’t be a waste of money.

Our instrument hire service is available exclusively for new and current students, making it easy for children to practice at home and gain confidence from the very start of their musical journey.

Instrument Options

🎸 Acoustic Guitar Hire

Ideal for children learning in our guitar programme (ages 5–11).
Child-sized guitars available.
£15 per month + refundable damage deposit.

🎹 Digital Piano Hire

Perfect for beginner pianists to practice at home.
Compact and easy to use, with weighted keys for a real piano feel.
£30 per month + refundable damage deposit.

What You Need to Hire

To make the process simple, all we require is:

✅ A photo ID (driving license, passport, or other official ID)
✅ Proof of address (utility bill, bank statement, etc.)

That’s it! Once we have these, you’re ready to start your child’s musical journey at home.

How It Works

Choose your instrument – available to new and current students only.
Provide ID and proof of address – quick and straightforward.
Sign Instrument Rental Agreement
Pay the deposit & first month’s hire – deposits are refundable when the instrument is returned in good condition.
Collect your instrument – or ask us about delivery options.
Enjoy your music lessons – with the right instrument at home, progress will be faster and more enjoyable.

Things to Know

Instruments are rented on a monthly basis.
A damage deposit is required (amount confirmed upon booking).
You are responsible for taking good care of the instrument while it’s on hire.
You can return the instrument at any time if you no longer need it.
